Spring seems to have been a long time coming, but the clouds broke and the sun started shining as we moved into May. The garden may be a month or so behind schedule, but nature will be quick to catch up, and the borders will soon be flush with late flowering bulbs and spring colour. The Plant Centre has an excellent and varied stock of container-grown plants, trees and ornamentals. If you're considering planting on a larger scale, developing woodland, or erecting a screen of trees, please contact Tim in our Forestry department. The drone of mowers has returned to gardens across the country, and now is the time to tidy up after this over-long winter. If you don't fancy doing that yourself, then now might be a good time to contact Liz in the Landscape team for inspiration and ideas for a garden make-over, or to plan the introduction of a maintenance regime.

The Plant Centre is open every weekday from 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
The Plant Centre is also open every Saturday through to the end of May, from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon.
