Nicholsons' Country Garden Days 2010
Release date: March 16th 2010

We love to be out in the garden and we love to be in the country. Our Country Garden Days celebrate the changing seasons, offering ideas and inspiration. We hope you will join us.

If you would like to be registered to receive reminders and details of our
preview days please register your e-mail address with Cat Hillier.

Bees, Blossoms and Bantams
Now past: Friday 23rd & Saturday 24th April

Our first Country Garden Days of 2010 were a great success. We had some fabulous talks by Dr Steven Head on how to encourage Bees in the Garden, which plants to plant, at what time of year the bees need Pollen or Nectar and how we can all help. A further more general talk on how to encourage wildlife in the garden was equally fascinating.

Jude from Cotswold Chickens was also on site for the two days offering advice on which chicken, how to look after them and selling a whole range of Chicken paraphernalia!

As well as this there was Coffee and Tea, Honey Cake and various types of honey biscuits (thank you Julie) to keep the theme going. And the Plant Centre was stocked with beautiful Blossom Trees and the usual range of lovely plants and excellent advice!

And there was the weather that could not have been improved!!

Thank you to all those who came and look forward to the next event in June – see below for more information or register with Cat. And a thank you to Karen Maskell for organising.
