Nicholsons Country Garden Lectures
Following
a successful and enormously popular inaugural
season in 2011, the Nicholsons Gardeners
Club is offering an equally diverse and stimulating
schedule of lectures and events for 2012.

Nicholsons' own Barb and Jane as they
share their gardening experiences and
talk about their favourite plants. An
informal evening of green-fingered idea

The Oxford
Garden
Visit
a private garden in the heart
of Headington largely designed and built
by Nicholsons. Enjoy the tulips, the
wild meadow and potager garden and take
in the view from the pavilions. |

Dene Garden
Join
owner Wendy Dare for a tour of this beautiful
garden with its bulbs, water feature and
herbaceous borders. |

private garden designed by Nicholsons is
open for one evening exclusively for Country
Garden Club members. Tours will be led
by the designers and the head gardener
who will answer all your questions. |

Touring
on a canal boat, we are to be entertained
by this talented, widely acclaimed theatre
troupe who will present “Losing
the Plot”, a fun play about the
personalities of Thistledale Allotments.

The Garden Design team will be
available in their new studio at North
Aston for a quarter to half hour garden
design consultations. 20 appointments
available. This event is free and wine

Winter at Westonbirt
We
are planning an evening walk around the
arboretum at Westonbirt which should be
a stunning sight with spectacular Christmas
lights illuminating the trees. Details
to follow, so register now and we will send
further information nearer the time.

With
the exception of the Mikron Theatre Company
performance on July 26th, all events at Nicholsons
Orchard Barn start at 7:00 pm and will finish
at approximately 8:45pm. All
such events need to be pre-booked and cost £6.50
including a glass of wine, unless shown as a
Free Event.
Tours
of gardens will start at around 6.30pm, meeting
points will be confirmed when booking.
Invitation
to the lecture series is for Country Gardeners
Club members only. If you are not already
a member please ask for a form, complete one
in the plant centre or register
on our website.

We will be sending out invitations by e-mail
two weeks prior to each event. RSVP will be essential
as only those who have booked in advance will be
allowed admission and numbers are limited. For

The
Mikron Theatre Company performance of Losing
the Plot will commence at 7:30 pm and
will finish at approximately 10:00pm. Doors
open at 7:00 pm. Tickets cost £8.00,
and refreshments will be available. Numbers
are limited and tickets will be issued on a
first-come-first served basis. For further
