Supply & Plant

We offer a Supply and Plant service for most of the trees, shrubs and plants that can be purchased from us, and for larger jobs we have contract teams who can handle major landscaping and garden design projects.

For smaller jobs, down to planting single trees, please Contact us for a quote. Generally, we will organise a date for the stock to be delivered and the person making the delivery will also be able to carry out the planting. He, she or they (depending on the size of the job) will have all the experience necessary and will also be able to assist in decisions about positioning and aftercare, and they will also offer best advice on planting.

Our charges are based on an hourly rate, dependent upon time spent on site, and we will supply an estimate of the likely cost before we start. However, our staff will always be happy to undertake other small jobs (within reason) whilst they are on site.

Many people appreciate the reassurance that our Supply & Plant service offers. They can be confident that the tree, shrub or plant they have purchased has been planted correctly and has the best possible chance of success. This is especially the case with the larger specimen trees that we supply. These are often too big to fit into a car and arranging delivery is often the only means of getting the plant home. Once there, our staff can offer maintenance advice and check the suitability of the site to the species you've chosen - and they have even been known to advise against planting a tree where it would not thrive!

The current hourly rate is £35 per man hour (inc. VAT) for hours on site. The Delivery charge is additional.
