Nicholsons
Country Gardeners' Club
The
Nicholsons Country Gardeners' Club was founded
in 2011 and will soon be embarking on
its second full year of events and practical
demonstrations. If you would like to take advantage
of the benefits of becoming a member, simply
enter your name and email address in the
form at the bottom of this page.
The Club
aims to bring garden lovers together. The benefits
are many and varied, and there is no charge
for becoming a member.
One
of the highlights will be access to a series
of fascinating Country Garden Lectures given
by eminent garden designers, horticulturalists
and gardening experts. These proved to be very
popular in 2011, and a series of similar
events is scheduled for 2012.
Club
members also take advantage
of our exclusive tours of some of the most fabulous
gardens in the region, many of which are not
normally
open to the public. Some are traditional and
historic gardens, originally created by some
of the greatest minds in the history of landscaping.
Others are by contemporary and award-winning
designers, while we occasionally indulge ourselves
by introducing members to some of the gardens
that our own team here at Nicholsons has created.
As
well as talks, lectures and tours, members were
also be invited to any one-off events at Nicholsons
during the year, when they can benefit from
special offers and quiz our resident
experts on how to get the best from their plants.
In
2012 we are hosting a special performance
by the Mikron Theatre Company, who will moor
their traditional narrowboat Tyseley at nearby
Somerton before joining us at the Orchard Barn.
Members
receive a regular newsletter by email,
offering helpful, topical and seasonal gardening
advice, hints and tips, links to special offers
and advance warning of any Sales and Events
at Nicholsons.
If all that appeals
to you, and you
would like to
receive full
details of the
whole programme
for the coming season, then please enter your
name and address details in the spaces below,
and join our Club.
